The National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) unit of Meenakshi Ammal Polytechnic College was inaugurated during the academic year 2001-2002. With 100 volunteers from the first-year students, including both boys and girls, the N.S.S. has become a cornerstone of social responsibility and community development at the institution.

Construction of Low-Cost Toilets : Supporting rural development by improving sanitation facilities.
